Leadlight: Math Logic Puzzle · Effective 28 October 2026

Leadlight is an arithmetic logic puzzle game for Android and iOS made by Machcode, Poland ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any question, write to [email protected].

The short version

Data stored only on your device

Completed levels, puzzles in progress, best times, your settings and which level packs you have unlocked are saved locally in the app's storage. They are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The app records a few gameplay events:

Together with each event, Firebase automatically collects technical information: a random app-instance identifier created when the app is first opened, the device model, operating system and app version, language, an approximate country or region derived from the connection, and session information such as first open and time spent in the app.

We use this only to understand how the game is played – for example which levels are too hard – and to improve it. Collection of the advertising ID is switched off, ad personalisation signals are switched off, and the app never asks for permission to track you across other apps.

Switching it off

In the app, open Options and turn off Share anonymous usage data. From then on the app sends neither usage statistics nor crash reports. You can turn it back on at any time.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, a report is sent containing the technical details of the error (stack trace), the device model, operating system and app version, the device state at the time (such as free memory and orientation) and a random installation identifier. We use these reports only to find and fix bugs.

Purchases

Level packs are one-time purchases processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see or store your payment details; the store only tells the app which packs you own so it can unlock them, including when you use "Restore Purchases".

Who processes the data

Usage statistics and crash reports are processed on our behalf by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited as part of Firebase. Google may process this data on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its data processing terms (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses). See Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell data and do not share it with anyone else.

How long data is kept

DataKept for
Analytics event data2 months, after which only aggregated, anonymous reports remain
Crash reports90 days
Data on your deviceUntil you uninstall the app

Deleting your data

To delete everything stored on your device, uninstall the app. To have the usage statistics and crash reports that Leadlight sent from your device deleted, email [email protected] with the subject "Leadlight data deletion" and, if you can, the date you installed the app and your device model. Because the data is tied only to random identifiers, we will delete all Leadlight analytics and crash data that could match your device and confirm by email within 30 days. Nothing is kept afterwards, except aggregated reports that contain no identifiers. Your purchases stay with your Google Play or App Store account and are not affected.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We process usage statistics and crash reports on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and improving it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time by switching them off in Options. Unlocking purchased packs is necessary to provide what you bought (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you have the right to access, correct or delete data about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because the app does not know who you are, the data above is tied only to random identifiers; uninstalling the app resets them, and old data expires as described above. For any request, email [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority – in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

Leadlight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
